Experiencia de clase

Autumn brings changing leaves, ripe fruit, and nutritious nuts. It is time for squirrels to eat their fill and start storing extra food for winter. Students in this class learn how to identify squirrel species, where they live, and what they eat through a short interactive presentation. Then, I guide students through 3 steps to draw a red squirrel with two foods it loves - wild plums and hazelnuts. We begin the drawing by blocking out the basic shapes of our composition. Then, we add in details with pencil and add color and texture with colored pencils.

This class is will be educational and enjoyable for students who like to learn more about North American plants and wildlife and practice drawing!
