In fact, it is encouraged for each student to bring a discovery to class. When each student is allowed a voice, in addition to the teacher, the wealth of information can be great. This will be an exciting adventure. I like to be a hands-on-to-learning teacher. This class is not about the teacher. The students are the focus and will guide the course. The teacher is just the facilitator. For this class, there is no prior knowledge required to attend this class. Possible external sources could include Nearpod for lesson content, unlisted YouTube videos from the teacher, Flipgrid for interactive video assignments, Kahoot for quizzes, Activity Learn for assignments, etc. Students are not required to have accounts. They will be provided links and then we'll complete the tasks. These tasks are for the lesson, comprehension, and interaction. The students will be required to write a paragraph about what they learned after each class. The paragraphs will be uploaded in the classroom tab. We will use different methods of interaction between the student and the teacher. These methods will include Nearpod, Google Docs, and other relatable resources that would be beneficial each week. For example, students will be able to upload their weekly writing with Google Docs, copy & paste, or Microsoft Word and the teacher can help with revisions, ideas, grammar, spelling, comments, etc. Another example would be using Nearpod where students can complete polls (for example: Have you been so excited that you wanted to shout it from the roof-tops?), quizzes, and slides to interact with the teacher. This class is built strong interactions between students and the teacher. The teacher will upload content into the classroom At least three times per week.
