Experiencia de clase

Building muscle is not all about looking fit. There is more to muscle than many people realize. Building muscle is key for longevity, heart health, improved strength, lowering risk of injury, strong bone density, and much more. This class will cover all of the reasons building muscle is beneficial to our lives. We will also discuss healthy ways to build muscle without risking injury, or participating in unhealthy behaviors. The class will be structured as follows:

- Introductions
- Student Share Out: Why are you interested in building muscle? (Goals)
- Lesson: Benefits of Building Muscle and How to Safely Start Building Muscle
- Muscle Building Kahoot Review
- Muscle Building Plan: Students will share ideas with the other students, and later create a plan of their own

My teaching style is diverse based on the needs of the students. We will use a variety of instructional practices throughout the course. This class will be taught using discussion, question and answer, short lecture, and review games. Students will get to interact with each other during the student share out where they share what their goals are. The other students may have similar goals. They will also share ideas for their Muscle Building Plan. The Muscle Building Plan will be individual to each student. However, they can share ideas for activities, exercises, and more. The learners will interact with me throughout the entire lesson, and have the opportunity to ask any questions that they would like to ask.

The learners do not need any prior knowledge of building muscle as this class is an introduction. We will not be performing any workouts as this class is designed to introduce students to the importance of muscle for overall health. We will discuss safe workout and exercise practices, so that students have the knowledge to perform safe and effective workouts.
