In this exciting week of math camp, learners will dive into multiplication and division through interactive, hands-on activities designed to build strong foundational skills. We'll start with multiplication tables (1–12), explore how multiplication and division are connected, and gradually move into solving more complex problems, including word problems and long division. Throughout the week, we’ll cover topics such as: Multiplication tables and number patterns Multiplying 2-digit by 1-digit and 2-digit by 2-digit numbers Dividing simple and multi-digit numbers Word problems and real-world math applications Long division and multiplying multiple numbers The class is structured with a balance of instruction, guided practice, and fun math games. Each day includes a warm-up, direct teaching with visual aids and examples, practice time, and a daily challenge or review game to reinforce learning. My teaching style is supportive, patient, and interactive. I adapt to each learner’s pace and needs, making sure they feel confident and engaged throughout the lesson. I use visual models (like arrays and number lines), slides, storytelling, and everyday examples to bring math to life. Learners will interact with me throughout the class—asking questions, solving problems together, and participating in discussions and games. We’ll use mini-quizzes, movement-based activities, and playful math tasks to keep energy high and learning fun. By the end of the week, students will not only have sharpened their multiplication and division skills—they’ll feel empowered and excited about math!

I’ve been teaching math for over 10 years, working with students ages 4 to 17 in both in-person and online settings. My experience spans a variety of educational environments, including traditional classrooms, gifted education programs, Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired approaches, and personalized one-on-one tutoring. For three years, I taught using Math curriculum for gifted learners, which helped me develop strong skills in adapting lessons to different learning styles and levels.
I hold several teaching certificates and a Master’s in Education, with a PhD in Education currently in progress. This educational background, combined with my hands-on teaching experience, equips me with a deep understanding of how to create effective, student-centered learning experiences.
Throughout my teaching journey, I’ve focused on designing hands-on, engaging lessons that make math meaningful and enjoyable. I love helping students discover that math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about thinking, problem-solving, and having fun while learning. Each session is tailored to support the individual needs of every child, whether they’re looking for reinforcement, enrichment, or exam prep.
In addition to teaching, I’m also a digital educational designer and curriculum developer, which allows me to create customized materials that support learning in creative and accessible ways.
