Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
I am a licensed elementary teacher with experience teaching a wide range of learners in grades K–6. I currently teach 3rd grade full-time, where I specialize in making math engaging and accessible for all students. Multiplication and division are major focus areas in 3rd grade, and I’ve developed creative ways—like songs, movement, and hands-on visuals—to help students master these skills with confidence and joy.
Before becoming a classroom teacher, I worked as a building substitute, supporting students in small groups and one-on-one across grade levels. This gave me experience adapting instruction to meet individual learning needs. I've also provided tutoring in both reading and math, helping students strengthen their foundational skills and build positive attitudes toward learning.
I believe math should feel meaningful, not stressful. In every setting I teach—whether it’s my own classroom or a virtual tutoring session—I focus on making learning clear, supportive, and fun so that students walk away feeling successful and empowered.
