Tarea
1 hora por semana. Assignments will be given each day for practice and will be expected to be completed by the next day’s class. We will go over the assignments together in class. Assignments will be posted on the classroom site after class each day. There will be four assignments.
Evaluación
Learners are not officially assessed as this class is simply a review of basic multiplication.

Learners will review their multiplication facts or times tables for 0s through 5s over the course of a one week period. Learners will review what multiplication is, what it means, and the rules of basic multiplication. Learners will learn different strategies and "tricks" to solve multiplication problems. I will use slides, lectures, games, and video clips in my lessons to review with and engage learners. They will also learn a song for each of the tables to help them remember the facts. Each day, learners will be expected to complete an assignment to practice their skills. Assignments will be posted in the classroom after each class and due the next class to check for understanding. Since this is a review of multiplication, learners should have knowledge of or have been previously taught the basics of multiplication.

Day 1: What is Multiplication?
              0s and 1s
              Zero Property and Identity Property
              Strategies/Tricks/Songs 
              Games/Practice with Teacher
              Assignment- 0s, 1s sheet posted after class; due Day 2

Day 2: Go over Assignment
              2s, 3s
              Skip Counting by 2s, 3s
              Strategies/Tricks/Songs
             *Have some sort of manipulative with you (ie. Cheerios, Legos, pennies, marbles, Cheez-Its, etc.) 
              Games/Practice with Teacher
              Assignment- 2s, 3s sheet posted after class; due Day 3

Day 3: Go over Assignment
              4s, 5s
              Skip Counting by 4s, 5s
              Strategies/Tricks/Songs 
             *Have some sort of manipulative with you (ie. Cheerios, Legos, pennies, marbles, Cheez-Its, etc.) 
              Games/Practice with Teacher
              Assignment- 4s, 5s sheet posted after class; due Day 4

Day 4: Go over Assignment
              0s-5s Review All
              Strategies/Tricks/Songs
