Estrategias de multiplicación y división (clase semanal de matemáticas para niños de 7 a 9 años)

Welcome to this introduction class!  Students will learn how to draw pictures and number lines to solve multiplication and division questions!  We will begin with discussing examples of multiplication and division!  Then, I will model how to draw pictures to solve questions! Next, students will draw pictures with me! Students will feel confident with new math strategies!

Each week, students will learn a different math strategy!

Week of October 19: How to solve multiplication questions with an array (pictures of dots and circles)

Week of October 26: How to solve division questions with an array (pictures of dots and circles)

Week of November 2: How to solve multiplication questions with a number line and skip counting

Week of November 9: How to solve division questions with a number line and skip counting

No outside websites or print outs are needed! Students are welcome to bring paper and pencil but they may also participate fully without materials!
