This is a four-week (twice a week) tutoring session that will help students to learn and practice the various aspects of multiplication and division, on a 4th and 5th grade level. This can be serve as an essential and useful resource for students embarking on a math curriculum in school. Included are single, double and triple digit numbers, multiplication and division with fractions, finding percentages, working with positive and negative numbers and solving decimals. In each lesson, there will be practice exercises, word problems, and related videos. The word problems can include various topics such as school, food, travel, and sports. There will also be extensive practice exercises that will further help with understanding and conceptualizing the areas. Even though the focus will be on multiplication and division, addition and subtraction will also be taught. Towards the end of the class, students will be given an opportunity to say what they learned.
