In my math classes, students gain confidence in math and learn that my class is a safe place to make mistakes as we grow and learn together. During this 8 week camp (15 lessons), we will play games, sing songs and manipulate our snacks as we learn the meaning of multiplication and work to memorize our multiplication facts through the 10's. We will spend the last week of camp understanding division and connecting division facts with our multiplication facts. Your child will look forward to this daily camp, and will finish feeling more confident with multiplication and division. Lessons are kept brief (40 minutes long) in order to keep engagement at its best. We will get hands-on with our snacks each day to work with our equal groups and make solid connections with our math facts. I will provide opportunities for your child to practice multiplication facts with fun games in between classes. Your child will finish this camp feeling like a true mathematician. Day 2:Using Skip Counting to Master 5's and 10's. Discover patterns in your facts.
Day 3: Using Skip Counting and Music to Master 3's facts.
Day 4:Using Skip Counting and Music to Master 4's facts.
Day 5: Using Skip Counting and Music to Master 6's facts.
Day 6:  Using Skip Counting, Tricks and Music to Master 7's facts.
Day 7: Using Skip Counting, Tricks and Music to Master 8's facts. 
Day 8:  Using Tricks to Master our 9's facts.
Day 9: Mixed Review of our Facts
Day 10: Understanding the Meaning of Division
Day 11:Connecting Division Facts with Multiplication using 2's, 5's and 10's.
Day 12: Connecting Division Facts with Multiplication using 3's and 4's.
Day 13: Connecting Division Facts with Multiplication using 6's and 7's. 
Day 14:Connection Division Facts with Multiplication using 8's and 9's.
Day 15:  Mixed Review and Games
