This class will provide 1 to 1 tutoring for students needing additional help in all K-6 subjects. This includes reading, writing, math, science, geography, and history. I would describe my teaching style as coaching while encouraging critical thinking and creativity. Learners will be engaged and interacting during the entire lesson. Use of my document camera can be used to explicitly teach math problems and essay writing. Learners do not need to be experienced in any area. As the teacher and tutor, I will help students build on strengths and eliminate weaknesses.

I will introduce myself by telling you a few things about me. I enjoy long nature walks and listening to classical piano music. My favorite place to visit is Myrtle Beach, SC. I am a certified teacher in the state of Virginia, and has worked in education for eight years.
My philosophy of education aligns with creating a learning environment that is student centered, so my role is to aid and assist students in developing much needed skills.
