In this live, on going PE class, students will engage in movement and exercise while learning about and discussing dinosaurs. This class will be teacher led, with opportunities to discuss different dinosaurs and characteristics of the dinosaurs and how different dinosaurs may have moved. Students will follow the teacher-led class through a series of stretches and cardio moves and strength exercises. Students will have fun interacting with each other as they engage in an active class and learn more about dinosaurs. Parents: please observe that the student has an open, safe area to exercise in, they are wearing proper footwear and clothing, and have water available. Please have proper supervision for your student for their safety. Minutes 1-4: Introductions and a dinosaur lesson Minutes 5-8 Stretches Minutes 9-17 Cardio. Teacher will lead the students through a series of activities to move their bodies and bring up their heart rate Minutes 17-21 Strength. Teacher will lead the students through push ups, scrunches, and exercises. Minutes 21-24 Cool down. Stretches. Minutes 25 Good byes.

I am Mrs V, as my classroom students call me. I teach phonics, grammar, science, math, and music classes. I am licensed to teach kindergarten through 6th grade. I also have a minor in music. I taught preschool for 6 years and I did student teaching in kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grades. I have worked part time in the public school system for the last 5 years. I homeschool my two youngest children and enjoy finding fun new ways to teach things. I also teach ESL classes online. I believe that including the student's interests into the lesson engages the learning and makes learning fun and more easily attainable. Fun, hands on activities and games provide an engaging learning environment. My hobbies are animals (I live on a small farm), music (I minored in music), reading and crocheting.
