Welcome to our Montessori Preschool full Curriculum online class, designed to nurture the early development of language and math skills in young learners. Meeting twice a week, this class offers a balanced and engaging approach to foundational education, setting the stage for future academic success. ✨We are proud to be the first and only accredited Montessori school on the Outschool platform, featuring certified teachers who bring their expertise from our brick-and-mortar school located in Ontario, Canada.✨ 𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗨𝗠 Our weekly schedule is carefully designed to ensure a comprehensive and enjoyable learning experience. On Mondays or Tuesdays, our language sessions focus on communication skills, vocabulary, and early literacy, while Wednesdays or Thursdays are dedicated to exploring mathematical concepts and developing problem-solving abilities. This structured approach helps children build confidence in both areas, preparing them for the next steps in their educational journey. 🅜🅞🅝🅓🅐🅨 Language In our language sessions, children engage in activities that promote listening and responding, non-verbal and two-way communication, and vocabulary building. We also focus on concept and cognitive development, introducing letter sounds and providing opportunities for handwriting practice. These activities are designed to enhance your child's ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, while fostering a love for language. 🅦🅔🅓🅝🅔🅢🅓🅐🅨 Math Next, we turn our attention to math, where children explore fundamental concepts through hands-on activities. They will learn about object permanence, the concept of same and different, and the principles of cause and effect. Through playful exploration, children will practice taking apart and putting together objects, associating items with numbers, and sorting events by sequence. As they progress, they will begin counting and developing an understanding of base 10 numbers, laying a strong foundation for future math learning. 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 Each session will begin with a brief lecture on the day's topic, providing children with a clear understanding of what they will be exploring. The teacher will then demonstrate the materials or worksheets needed for the activity, showing step-by-step how to complete the task. Following the demonstration, children will have the opportunity to try the activity independently, while the teacher observes and provides real-time feedback. This hands-on approach ensures that children learn through experience while receiving the support they need to succeed. Our teaching style is fun, engaging, and productive. We believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience that stimulates curiosity and a love for discovery. By creating a positive and supportive atmosphere, we aim to keep students motivated and eager to participate. Students will have ample opportunities to interact with the teacher and their peers throughout the class. The small group setting ensures that each child receives personalized attention and has the chance to actively participate in all activities. We incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including interactive games, discussions, slides, and occasional video clips, to make lessons dynamic and relatable.
Metas de aprendizaje
Children will expand their vocabulary by engaging in interactive activities and discussions. This will help them use new words confidently in various contexts, enhancing their ability to express ideas clearly.
Children will learn and practice the phonetic sounds associated with each letter of the alphabet. This foundational skill will improve their reading and spelling abilities, laying the groundwork for early literacy development.
