Don't blow it!  Don't burn it!  Don't waste it!  Money comes and goes but do you really understand how it all goes together?

In this 6 week class, we will look at advertising, goal setting, our thoughts about money and more that will help you form clear ideas about what you want in life and how money can help you get there.  We will have interactive discussion questions each week where all learners will contribute in addition to individual lessons you will do at home.  

Each week:  Students will do assigned pages in workbook and then log into the classroom to answer the weekly question.  All students are expected to answer the question every week.  In addition, there will be fun games/activities/art projects for you to work on in pairs, individuals and as the whole group to enhance the classroom materials and create a rich learning environment.  You will need to have a Padlet.com sign in for some of the virtual activities.  There will also be questions that involve some serious thinking involving friends, family, honesty and reputations.  We will have occasional videos to watch on your own that pertain to class material.

Week 3: Money Motivators- How to deal with money decisions
Week 4:  Money Talks- Money and Communication
Week 5: Get Smart- setting goals
Week 6:  Show me the Money- making a budget plan  

I am a laid back teach who appreciates it when the students get involved! I will give you feedback within 3 days of your turning in your assignments in addition to the weekly lessons, activities and being available for any questions.

Each student is expected to have a copy of the text- Money Fundamentals, 4-H Book 1.
