Each week in this ongoing class, we will explore one specific character building topic. Class will begin with our greetings, and then dive straight into the topic of the week. Students will be asked what they already know about the topic, and then I will dive into a read aloud story for the topic. Each week, I may give a scenario or video for the learners to discuss. At the end of class, I'll ask a few questions to get the learners to really think critically about the topic. Students are encouraged to raise their hand to share their thoughts when appropriate!

*CLASS TIME*
All class times are approximate. Class length varies based on student ability and number of enrolled learners. Classes are designed so that they will not run longer than the time allotted.

*LATE/MISSED CLASS POLICY*
All courses will begin on time as long as one learner is in the classroom. In the event that no students are in the classroom at the assigned class time, the teacher will leave a message on the discussion board and exit after 10 min. Class recordings are available upon request. 

*MISSED ONGOING CLASSES*
Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds or credits for missed classes. As an ongoing class, the subscription holds your spot and prevents another learner from taking it. If you need to miss a class, please withdraw so that another learner can fill the slot if they wish. Recordings are posted as soon as they are available for absent students.

*REFUND/TRANSFER POLICY*
Per Outschool policy, there are no refunds or credits for missed classes. I will be glad to transfer your learner to another section but require 24 hours' notice. This timing is necessary in order to fill the spot you are vacating. If I transfer you on short notice, I may not be able to fill your original spot, which means you are taking up two spots but only paying for one.
