Experiencia de clase

Grado de EE. UU. 2 - 5
This engaging class is designed to spark creativity and build writing confidence in early learners through short, fun prompts. Each session, children will explore different subjects in bite-sized chunks, perfect for their developing attention spans. A prompt will be provided, and then the teacher will guide learners through brainstorming and writing their own, unique pieces. Each assignment will consist of about four to five sentences, keeping it short and sweet!

Together with letters, diary entries, and instructions, learners will create tiny tales, mini musings, and swift stories that capture their imaginations and improve their writing skills. Through these guided exercises, young writers will discover the joy of self-expression and storytelling. Each week features a new subject, perfect for learners to drop in and drop out, or subscribe long-term to keep writing skills sharp.

Join us to nurture a lifelong love for writing, one short subject at a time!

Lista de útiles escolares
Learners will need to bring something to write with and something to write on to class. I recommend pencil over pen and an eraser. Learners may also want to bring colors in order to draw or illustrate their writing projects. This can be done at the end or after class time.

Los estudiantes no necesitarán utilizar ninguna aplicación o sitio web más allá de las herramientas estándar de Outschool.

Perfil
Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
A linguist by education - and with a background working in communication for nearly a decade - much of my life has been focused on the art of wordsmithing. I know all too well how daunting a blank page can be for an otherwise verbally excellent writer, and I look forward to providing the creative boost that some young authors need to get started.
