Some of the early lessons and topics that will be learned include:
Finger Numbers: assign a number 1-5 to each hand 
Position and posture: how to sit properly and how to hold your hands on the piano
Rhythm: learning the notes and their rhythmic value
Music Alphabet: learn the names of each of the white keys on the piano and how they are organized
Dynamics: understand the symbols for loud and soft 
The Music Staff: understand the lines and spaces of the staff and which note of the keyboard it matches to
Accidentals: learn about sharps and flats and how to name and identify the black keys on the piano

Detalles: Students will be given 1-2 new songs to practice after each lesson, as well as periodic written homework. Students are encouraged to practice 10-20 minutes each day, or 1-3 hours each week.
