Each week students will work as a team building survival camps, hunting, mining, crafting, trading, protecting and using effective communication skills, with the end goal of defeating the ender dragon. Sometimes, teams will be broke into 2 teams and we will do exercises of compare and contrasting what methods worked and what did not work.

Each class will end with a debriefing session, that is about 5 mins long to take in strengths and weakness of the team and where improvements could be made. 

Week One - What is effective communication?
Week two - Essential roles of survival.
Week three - Building the ultimate survival house.
Week four - Triage, why is works.
Week five - Team play, who is the stronger team and why?
Week six - Why yelling never works?
Week seven - Crafting is an art


Regarding Minecraft:
Each student will need a Minecraft account. Class participants will do all Minecraft building on their own personal device. Any version of Minecraft (PC/Mac computer, Minecraft for Windows10, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or other gaming consoles, Minecraft PE for iPad, Android tablets, etc.) will work for this course. The purchase of Minecraft must be made separately and prior to the start of class. Students with a few months of Minecraft experience through play or otherwise, will have the skills needed to complete the builds and crafting in Minecraft. Minecraft is a building tool for this course (think of it as digital building blocks). The lessons and information in this course are not official Minecraft products and are not associated with Mojang.

What is NOT included:
This course will not include a group server. Technology can be unpredictable, glitches happen, or user connections can be poor, therefore expect some problems joining into my world/realm.
