In this 1 week long camp, students will be taught to code using Minecraft. There will be lots of projects to cover, from magical mobs to Greek mythology, from fairground fun to witches and wizards, from amazing rainforests bursting with life to African safaris. Come join the fun with lots of different topics around which to build and learn to code. - Learn block-based Microsoft MakeCode coding similar to Scratch Use loops and conditionals (IF/THEN/ELSE) Understand variables (number, Boolean, string) Create and use functions Use all of the above to make games and build structures
Minecraft Education Edition downloaded and installed on iPad, MacBook, Windows PC or Chromebook (other tablets such as Android are not supported). Please see system requirements under materials. We will provide you with our Minecraft Education Edition login.
