Class structure: -Each class will begin with a brief overview of the text and literary elements/techniques we will be focusing on for the day. -Then, I will introduce the text and comprehension questions. -As we read the text together, students will annotate the document in real-time, identifying key details, themes, and techniques. -After reading, we will discuss the material, analyze characters, themes, or arguments, and work through the comprehension questions, focusing on answering them in well-developed sentences. I will model the annotation process, guiding students to identify important information in the text and encouraging them to engage actively in the discussion.
