👉 I am not currently offering live coloring book classes but I am offering my Anatomy Coloring Book Club as a self-paced course! You will get the same lessons as I teach live but with a lot of extra material. While I love my live classes, the self paced ones provide more time for one-on-one interactions in the classroom.  And there's also a whole new dimension of applying what we learn!  I've chosen real-life application videos on YouTube and created discussion questions to really dig in to the topic in more detail. 😊

Yup!  I had to because there wasn't anything good enough to use with my students!  Anatomy coloring books meant for students are either silly clip art or throw lots of random information at you.  Mine is designed to teach important concepts and give just the right amount of information.  When it came out, it was the #1 new release in kids science on Amazon!

Original class description:  

As with all my classes, each session:
-Starts with a light, topic-related warmup question 
-I teach using drawings, images, models, demonstrations, Socratic questioning, or other methods as appropriate
-We will color the page(s) while discussing what we are learning, interspersed with more teaching.
-I usually include the effect of a particular microbe on humans.
-A short (2-4 minute) video focused on the microbe or a patient story related to the microbe
-For students who are interested, I'll provide video link(s) in the classroom for further exploration after class but this is optional.

You will need the coloring book.  I've chosen The Microbiology Coloring Book from Rhonesniczell Publication because it has clear illustrations of a variety of microbes that are labelled.  We will not be working through the book in order, so if you want to know what we're covering each week, just check the schedule below. :-)
