This class will focus on prepositions and prepositional phrases. Students will learn what a preposition is and then learn a trick to help them memorize the most utilized prepositions — singing them to tunes. I will present a slideshow to help students interact. We will work on a sing-and-repeat, where I will sing part of the song and then they will repeat it to help them memorize the list. After a few rounds, we will work as a class to identify prepositional phrases in sentences. A worksheet will be provided for future reference and offer a few more examples to work on independently if there is still time at the end of class.
