In this class, learners will meet Mrs. Ashley and be introduced to her class. We will sing songs, read stories, and play learning games. Our focus will be on practicing letters and sight words. I like to teach with learning games that are engaging and with songs that are fun to remember. I may use various resources such as slides or video clips when teaching letters and sight words. I understand that young learners have short attention spans. So my lesson pacing is fluid based upon activities that are the most engaging for that class.

Mrs. Ashley has taught kindergarten for 6 years in public school. I also have 5 children of my own and I have successfully prepared 3 of them for kindergarten. My younger children are not school aged yet but I'm working to prepare them as well. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching K-6. My professional and personal experience with kids includes public school, private school, and vacation bible school at my church. I look forward to meeting your family soon!Reseñas
