In this fun and interactive class, students will get to practice spelling and identifying sight words on a Star Wars themed bingo card! We will be using 2nd and 3rd grade sight word lists. Before we start class, students will get to share a favorite Star Wars character, or even a Star Wars toy if they would like! In this class we will: -Be emailed 2 Star Wars bingo cards to be printed prior to class -See each word presented on screen, and Hear the word read by the teacher, then used in a sentence by the teacher. -Make up our own sentence with the word. (The teacher will call on students to have a turn doing this, students can pass if they don't feel comfortable) -Mark the word when found on our Bingo card. -Celebrate our classmates when they win! -Play multiple rounds of Bingo, time permitting! Ms. Erica is a kind and engaging teacher and your students will have fun and build confidence in this class!

Students/Parents will need to print 2 Bingo cards prior to class starting. Students will also need a handful of objects to use as a "bingo marker" such as buttons, small rocks, pennies, or cut up pieces of construction paper. We will play multiple games, so students should not use something permanent (like crayons, markers, pencils to mark on the bingo card) Bingo cards will be emailed upon enrollment!

I am a classroom teacher turned homeschool mom! I've been teaching for over 20 years and I try to learn something new everyday!
I am excited to teach classes about animals! I was raised on an alligator farm and have a lot of experience with teaching students about reptiles and many other animals you can find in Florida!
I have a bachelors degree in elementary education and taught in a traditional classroom for several years before deciding to stay home with my own children and homeschool them. I've worked as an educator at Sea World Orlando and tutored online with Educate Online.
I believe that kids learn best when they are invested in the subject matter! I love capitalizing on a child's natural curiosity and letting them dig deep on a subject they care about! My classroom is always a safe place where kids can be themselves and ask questions. I love to "geek out" with kids when they are excited about a subject and especially love when a kid can teach me something new!
My passions include travel, Broadway musicals, Harry Potter (I'm a Hufflepuff!), and especially Disney. You will find those themes woven into many of my classes. I'm so excited to share my love of learning with your children!Reseñas
