Ever wish you could go over something you learned last year? Or do you wish that you could get an idea of what to expect next year? This Ongoing Math Camp will help all students that want to either do a refresher on 4th Grade Math OR the student may need additional support during the year. This class will cover 4th and 5th Grade Math Common Core concepts. Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Word Problems and more will be covered in this Math Camp! You can join at any time as each week will cover a different topic. Give your child the gift of Confidence! Hello! My name is David McLaughlin.
I have Bachelors Degree in Education. I am TESOL Certified as well.
I am also a father, who has home schooled all 5 of my children through high school.
I also have 15 years experience teaching ongoing classes in my community for Reading, Grammar, Speech and Public Speaking to children aged 8 through 18 years of age.
I teach classes in all the common core subjects but throughout my years of experience teaching I have particularly come to love teaching the subjects Math, English and Natural Science.
My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
My teaching style is to encourage critical thinking and lively discussions through the use of engaging questions and leading students to logical conclusions where they can back up their opinions by facts and data.
