Please send me a message with the math topics ( 3 topics maximum to fit in our 45 minutes class) that your child needs help with.
Some Examples of Math Topics I have tutored are as follows:
Grade 3: 
1. Multiplication

Grade 4:
1. Division
2. Fractions
3. Order of Operations
Grade 5:
1. Fractions
2. Order of Operations
3. Decimals

Please note: I will help your child grow in math by meeting them where they are. So, if a child is struggling with division because they don't know their math facts. I will work with your child to secure those math facts so they can continue to progress in their math skills.

We begin the lesson by practice questions and we have 2 or 3 breaks built in the session for watching a fun math video on the main topics of the day for the tutoring session to encourage math discussion.
We will practice various questions on the specific topic(s) identified.
Suggested strategies to help with retaining and applying learning are shared and practiced. 
During the lesson, I will share suggested free online games to help your child to practice these skills. 
I incorporate Kahoot, IXL, Open ended questions and multiple choice questions, along with Brain POP and Numberock songs to practice math skills. 
If you would like to make this an ongoing weekly session, please reach out to me via message. I will be happy to accommodate and will share a progress report update with you monthly of your child's progress. Please note as skills are mastered, we can always create new goals.
