Improv B.A.S.I.C.'s is the 5 keys guidelines of Improv.  We cover these through understanding the C.O.R.E. of every scene by interactively using multiple games and exercises designed to practice good form. We always start with fun warm-ups and then dive right into the interactive learning portion.  I have simplified the descriptions of games and exercises so there is little lecture time and more performing. I team up learners with two to three participants at a time and give them skills to practice. I am an engaging instructor that enjoys teaching.  I use a evaluation formula that gives genuine praise and positive feedback for improvement. I will give the learners various scenarios and explain the objective of each game. They will act out each exercise with one or more partners. Beginners or experienced actors are welcome.

Week of Feb 20: Characters. Exploring the many different ways of establishing characters.
Week of Feb. 27: Objective. Developing what drives the scene along.
Week of March 6: Relationship. How are the characters connected to each other.
Week of March 13: Environment: Creating a believable space on stage for your scene.
