Experiencia y certificaciones del docente

I am an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching K-6th grades in public and charter schools. With four years of teaching experience, including time spent teaching overseas, I have developed a deep understanding of how to engage and support students in their learning journey.  

My academic background includes a degree from Texas State University, and my career path has allowed me to work with diverse student populations in a variety of educational settings. Throughout my teaching career, I have focused on creating safe, structured, and engaging classroom environments where students feel encouraged to take academic risks and develop a growth mindset.  

Beyond the classroom, I have worked with children in multiple capacities, including as a mentor and coach. I am currently a coach for the Strong Minds Run Club, where I help students develop physical endurance and mental resilience through running. Additionally, I have been involved in nonprofit work with two food banks and a dance academy, all of which have strengthened my ability to support and inspire young learners outside of traditional academic settings.  

I am passionate about fostering a love of learning in my students and helping them develop essential skills for success. My teaching philosophy is centered on student empowerment, active learning, and creating meaningful connections between academic content and real-world experiences.
