3, 2, 1, GO! Can you beat Miss Dani to the finish line?

This ongoing gaming club is a fun, friendly, inclusive environment where learners will engage in friendly competition, make new friends, practice good sportsmanship, and develop their social and and communication skills. 

At the beginning of class, learners will have the opportunity to discuss Mario Kart with each other, their favourite parts about the game, their favourite courses, and other Mario games they may enjoy. I will host a lobby for learners to join me and then we will collectively decide what game modes/courses we will play throughout the meeting.

Please note that while some skill is required for maneuvering the courses, all levels are welcome. This class will be learner-directed, and will be adapted based on skill level.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO JOIN A FRIEND'S LOBBY:
Before following these steps, please make sure to add me as a friend on the account you will be playing on. This will be the account that has an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. To do this, select the appropriate avatar in the top left corner of the Switch's home menu. From there, you can scroll down and you will see "Add Friend." Go over to the right and scroll down to "Search with Friend Code." Type in my friend code which I will provide in the online classroom here on Outschool, and you're all set!

1. From Mario Kart's main menu, select "Online Play (1p / 2p)"
(Select 2p if you have two players playing from the same console)
2. Scroll down and select "Friends"
3. Once you have me added, you can select my name (Vaughn)
4. Hit join!
