This course follows the topics of third grade math standards. Class flow: Concept and strategies of the topic Interactive Math games Bilingual Worksheets - parents can print the worksheets for the children, children can write their answers on the worksheets while the teacher is working on the questions with them in class. This course is suitable for: Learners who can communicate verbally in Mandarin in an intermediate level. Learners who would like to learn math in a fun and interactive environment. Learners who wants to gain exposure to Chinese Mandarin through different learning experiences. Teaching Method: Learners are provided with different visual ways of looking at math with the Singapore Bar Models approach. The learning journey begins with the concrete and pictorial stages, followed by the abstract stage to enable them to learn mathematics meaningfully. This approach encourages advanced (higher-order) thinking process, communication of mathematical ideas and problem solving.
