Chinese characters, also known as Hanzi (漢字) are one of the earliest forms of written language in the world, dating back approximately five thousand years.  These characters are not only a language but also an art form, deeply rooted in Chinese culture.But do you know Chinese characters are actually related? For example, 女 (female) component can be found in a lot of characters. 她 (she), 妈(mom)，姑(aunt)，奶(grandma-Dad's mom)，姥(grandma-mom's mom)，etc. 

In our 30-minute lessons, I will focus on the components of these characters, known as 汉字部首. This helps your child to name, identify, write, and read simple characters and vocabulary. This approach also aids in improving their Mandarin pronunciation. 

To make the learning process more engaging, I use interactive PowerPoint presentations with animations. All these resources are originally created by me to ensure they are tailored to your child's learning needs. My teaching method promotes learning through interaction, using visual prompts and cues. I also provide positive reinforcements to encourage your child's progress. 

It is recommended that this camp is for students who are at novice high level in Mandarin. However,  if you don’t know any Chinese, you can still be able to learn and have fun with Chinese characters. Come and join me, you will surely enjoy this lesson! The schedule goes as below:
