Students will learn the basics of makeup application techniques for foundation, eye liner, lips, blush, eye shadow and mascara. The maximum number of students are 5 per class. This allows for more individualized attention to refine makeup application skills. Students will learn what types of applicators are the best for each type of makeup. We will learn to properly blend and apply everything to create an age appropriate look. At the end of class we can have a little extra fun and add a pop of sparkle for a special occasion. Prior to class, students should have a clean face. We will be applying makeup live during class together. Students will be applying makeup to their own face. A list of supplies can be found in the learner supply list. I'm so excited to teach this class!

Parents should be advised that some students may have skin sensitivities to some of the products listed. Should the students skin hurt, itch or become uncomfortable at anytime they should rinse with a mild soap and water. If irritation should continue it would be best to consult the student’s doctor for guidance.

Hello! I am Ms. Brittany. I have 8 years of classroom teaching experience and 4.5 years of experience teaching online. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Kentucky University in 2012. I also earned my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015, also at Eastern Kentucky University. I've been married to my husband, Matt for 9 years and we have 2 boys ages 6 and 3. I love teaching! I believe children learn best using a hands on, minds on approach. I enjoy teaching a variety of ages! I like to cook, sew and craft as well.
