Does your child love crafting and creating unique designs? In this hands-on, one-time class, students will learn how to make beautiful paper beads from recycled materials like magazines, newspapers, or wrapping paper. They’ll discover how to turn everyday items into wearable art while exploring the basics of crafting and design. By the end of the class, students will have a collection of colorful, one-of-a-kind paper beads that they can use to make necklaces, bracelets, or keychains. This is a fun, eco-friendly activity that encourages creativity and teaches valuable crafting skills! In this one-time class we will... 1. Welcome and Introduction (5 minutes) 2. Materials Overview and Setup (5 minutes) 3. Demonstration: Cutting Paper Strips (10 minutes) 4. Rolling the Beads (15 minutes) 5. Sealing the Beads (10 minutes) 6. Stringing and Finishing (10 minutes) 7. Sharing and Wrap-Up (5 minutes)

I’m so excited to share my love of art and creativity with your child! As a creative art tutor, I specialize in nurturing self-expression and imagination through engaging, hands-on activities. I have over 7 years of experience working with children in the classroom and a strong background in the arts. I completed my Associate’s Degree in Art Education at Broward College and have been an awarded and featured artist in numerous South Florida art galleries. I’m also a published writer, children’s book author, and have previously managed an advanced art studio for kids, where I designed sensory-rich and inclusive art lessons for learners of all ages and abilities.
