Students will also receive a custom mineral makeup recipe sheet 📝 to print and fill out, so they can recreate their unique makeup recipes at home, helping them develop valuable DIY beauty skills. Base minerals purchased will allow students to make multiple batches of each recipe, providing great value for future projects! This class is perfect for beauty enthusiasts and teens interested in natural skincare and cosmetic chemistry. Parental Guidance
Students will be handling a spice grinder to mix their makeup. These do have a blade so supervision may be necessary depending on students age and ability.
Supply List
Students will need to purchase: A spice grinder (electric is best) Jars to hold the makeup (1 for foundation, blush, and smaller pots for eyeshadow) Wooden craft sticks/Popsicle sticks Minerals needed (make sure all are cosmetic grade) Non-nano Zink Oxide Titanium Dioxide White Clay Sericite (White Mica) Iron Oxide colors (these come in packages with multiple colors make sure it includes red, yellow, pink and brown) Mica colors (these are for eyeshadow and come with a large variety, I would have the student pick a mix with what colors they want for eyeshadows).
