La casa del árbol mágico: misiones de Merlín

In this ongoing class the learners read each book BEFORE class and then meet together to discuss the Magic Tree House: Merlin Missions books.  You may choose to read the book with your learner, let them read to you or have them read independently. During the class time the learners will be given the opportunity to share their favorite scene in the book and identify which characters they can best relate to.  The teacher will guide the discussion so everyone will have the chance to share and to bring out any questions that may spark continued conversation about the book.  If your child's reading program includes the Accelerated Reading program (AR), they should be able to successfully complete the AR test for the book. The following schedule will be followed and you are able to come to as many sessions as you like.  To get the most out of this experience, I would recommend you help your learner set reading goal and reward them for reaching that goal.  Rewards could be as simple as stickers on a chart for each week completed and a special treat when they reach their goal! Be creative and encourage your child on each reading adventure!
