In this class we will read the first book in the Magic Tree House book series, Dinosaurs Before Dawn, written by Mary Pope Osborne. 

In each class, we'll explore and discuss two-three chapters. After the first class, students are expected to read the chapters that will be discussed in the subsequent lessons.   This book consists of ten chapters. Reading sessions are designed to enhance vocabulary, listening abilities, conversational skills, and writing skills.

In my classroom, I foster a welcoming environment where children are free to express their thoughts, drawing connections from the reading to their own experiences. I motivate the children to contemplate and discuss how the narrative's themes resonate with their personal lives, developing new vocabulary and proper grammar in the process. 

I suggest that students maintain a notebook, bringing it to every class. This notebook serves as a place to keep new vocabulary words, which are added with each lesson.
