Madlibs are fun for the younger students too!  Students will start out by introducing themselves and answering an introduction question (i.e. What is your favorite animal?).
This class is great for being introduced to nouns, verbs, and more.
In this class ESL students will get a chance to practice their English skills.  While listening to conversation as well.
Students will take turns choosing from a small word bank, and I will use their word to fill in the blanks of the story.  The story topic will be a mystery until all of the blanks are filled in.  This will make the story even more silly!
When all of the blanks have been filled in I will read the students the completed silly story.
This will get the students thinking, using decision making skills and being introduced to nouns, verbs, and more.
We will work through a minimum of one story and do as many as time allows.  The number of blanks will vary depending on the story, so the time it takes to complete each story varies.
As an ongoing class we will be working on various madlib jr stories each week.  These will not have certain topics, each class will have different/new stories.
