This class is perfect to take if you have mastered the basics of machine sewing such as straight stitch, needle control, foot pedal control, presser foot control & pivots. This class is designed for students who have already completed some smaller projects and are ready to dive into a more challenging yet gentle project. Using a slow yet steady process through the practice of machine sewing, students can create a beautiful final doll set that they can be proud of.  Parents will need to be able to assist for parts of the lessons that will include cutting, ironing, and using needles yet parents do NOT need to have prior sewing knowledge to assist.

This is a self-paced class that does NOT include live meetings with a teacher. I will present new content into the Outschool and interactive classroom for students to use and complete for the lessons on their own time. Lessons also include additional helpful mini-lessons showing how to use sewing notions, practice and patterns as applicable to the lesson. Although there are no live meetings with this class, I am always available for additional encouragements and check-ins and answering questions throughout the 5 weeks of the course in either typed or video format to help students feel supported through their sewing.

I will also provide feedback on submitted photos and questions throughout the duration of the 5 week course and I will also be available throughout the duration of the course to answer questions or help with troubleshooting as needed.
