*Autistic and neurodirvegent friendly*

Build a character and embark on an epic Odyssey of supremely queer proportions. Each week, players will take on the role of their character then embark on an adventure to save people, cause chaos, and create meaningful connections with others. The ultimate goal of this game is for your characters to fully grow as people, working through their issues, growing as people, and realizing that they've made a difference in the world.
If you have played with me before, then you know how this goes! Classes are fast-paced improvised scenarios in which drama and action unfold in wild and unpredictable ways. They are structured around free expression and creativity, imploring learners to embrace their imaginations and fully interact with the game and all the drama that unfolds.

A game of Love, Swords, and Adventure. Anywhere that swords cross, magic flares, and hearts race, you will be there. A sword duel can end in kissing, a witch can gain her power by helping others find love, and an entire campaign can be built around simply trying to protect the ones you love from danger . Thirsty sword lesbians and urban mages battle a tyrannical ruler when their enforcers march down from the frosty north. They rocket through the stars to safeguard diplomats ending a generations-old conflict. They sip tea together and share shy glances at the corner café, until they need to take up their swords to defend their community. Even in conflict, they seek peace with their opponents—and sometimes connect more deeply than anyone expects.
You can be whatever gender or sexuality that you want, you don't need to use magic, and there's more than one way to solve a problem than with swords. All are welcome here, be you a disaster bi, cis/het, handicapable, neurodirvegent, or part squirrel creature.

Whether it’s an entire planet, a knightly order, or just the coven to which the protagonists belong, they are part of a community that embodies important ideals worth fighting for, even as you strive to make it better.

We will be using the ruleset for Urban Mages by Maxumillian Howett for ease of play. Thirsty Sword Lesbians is a game created by April Kit Walsh in consort with Gay Spaceship Games and Evil Hat Productions and will provide our core theme and setting.

Orientación para padres
This is a game that features fantasy and space violence, romantic, gender and sexuality themes, and the evils that plague our world. Characters can be presented in a diverse range of genders and sexual identities. Learners can choose many ways to play including choosing to romance other characters in the game. Doing so will open up the game to the complex nature of human sexual identities and attraction to other people. I feel that these are important feelings to work though when your're younger to better develop and maintain positive healthy relationships with oneself and others. While the source material contains references to it, no explicit context of any sexual scenes is presented nor is there a discussion about sexuality or related ideas. Rather the RPG is made so learners can discover/express these ideas themselves through playing the game rather than discussion. The RPG allows learners to build a character and firm realtionship that they feel represents them. The fade to black scenes in the class are used as a way for learners to enjoy the emotional weight of any fictional relationships they choose to build in the game. In this way the RPG can be used as a safe and accepting environment for learners to present themselves, interact with each other, and fully immerse themselves in the game its world/characters at their own comfort level without the need for a discussion or explanation, which is the games purpose. Misogyny, transphobia, racism, and other forms of bigotry are not the norm here, though they may exist if players wish to confront these issues.
