Ready to fall in love with painting?     
   No painting experience is necessary.......Really!  
Just paint - a - long  with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time,  you will have created a masterpiece! 

Students will follow along step by step, as I paint details right in front of them.   
Headphones to cancel out any home background noise is extremely helpful.   
Students are encouraged to treat this as an open class and engage in speaking as much or as little as they prefer. 


 If they choose, students can always share their masterpiece at the end of the class .   (This is never required)  
  I will demonstrate  how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. 
 
They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember  techniques that they can use in their own artwork. 
 It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work.  
Watch as they improve with each painting they create!

Practicing our painting is key to developing skills. 
  With all of my classes , Concepts are revisited often to gain muscle memory and learn control.

  LLAMA Acrylic paint colors : 
 White 
Black 
Yellow 
Bright blue  
Green ( can mix up with yellow and blue) 
Bright or dark pink 
Orange 
Your choice of background color 


            DAY 2:
KOALA Acrylic paint colors : 
White 
Black 
Gray. ( Can mix up with white and black ) 
Yellow 
Orange
Green 
Your choice of background color

              DAY 3: 
HEDGEHOG Acrylic paint colors: 
*Black painted/dried canvas BEFORE CLASS
White
Black 
Green
Orange 
Blue
Yellow
 *Choice of flower colors

11x14 surface such as 
Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper

*Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward  SPECIFICALLY  11x14 or smaller . 
 This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success.      

SHORT HANDLED brushes : 
  (flexible,  synthetic bristles please) 
Large 3/4 “ or  1 " Flat wash brush 
Small square angled brush
Medium sized ROUND brush  ( size 8 )
Small sized /Detail ROUND brush with a nice point.  ( size 3 or 4) 

 2 Bowls of water 
EXTRA paper towels 
2 Paper plates  (one for paint and one for mixing )
Headphones are helpful

Cameras will be asked to be on during class for attendance purposes.  
As you know, Outschool classes are specifically for children.   
 Per Outschool's policy,  each painter must be registered separately.
