Experiencia de clase

Students will learn about how to lead a healthy lifestyle. Topics will include healthy eating and how to create a "healthy plate", the importance of exercise and physical activity, and the importance sleep. All information is tailored to this age group. There will be a variety of interactive activities to keep children engaged, excited to learn, and eager to share! 

The class will be structured as follows:
1. Introduction
2. The Importance of a Healthy and Balanced Diet, Looking at Food Groups, Healthy Plate Activity.
3. The Importance of Exercise, Exercise Activity - What's Your Favourite Form of Exercise? 
4. The Importance of Sleep, A Tiny Vacation, Activity - Ways to Help You Fall Asleep. 
5. Wrap-up and Questions 

Students will interact with the teacher and their classmates via Outschool tools, slides, video clips, in-class discussion, and drawing.

Students will need a few pages of paper, a pencil, and some coloured pencils/crayons/markers as we will be drawing. 

No prior knowledge is required for students to enrol in this course.

I am an engaging, young teacher who loves interacting with youth. I am very passionate about health and wellbeing. I am very excited to be teaching these health and fitness classes!
