Nivel Beginner - Advanced
Through the guided drawing process, students will learn how to draw a dragon eye and surrounding scales in detail. My teaching style involves breaking the process down into smaller, easy-to-follow steps. I pace the class according to the needs of the students; if needed, I give fast finishers a break, allowing students who need more time to complete their work, the time to do so, and even then, finishing before class ends is NOT the objective. The examples in the picture are only suggestive; students may also request a particular favorite if time allows. My classes are intended to be fun, informative, and a safe place to take artistic risks and make mistakes--that is experimentation, which artists do all the time! At the end of class, students will be invited to share their creations no matter what their progress is. More detailed information regarding this class can be found in the syllabus.

Examples, Ideas and Practice
We will look at and discuss different types of pupils, details in irises, etc. that might be interesting, and practice sketching a variety of eyes. We will begin a "final copy" toward the end of the session. 50 minutos de lección en vivo en línea

There will be a handout available after the first class for students to print. Materials needed: scratch paper for practice regular drawing paper or bristol board or tagboard, either full-size, like 9X12, or cut to approximately 4X5 (you can make several at this size!) pencils colored pencils (My personal favorite are Prismacolor, but Crayola or Sargent work well too) black Sharpie in fine and ultra-fine Images of eyes (you can google and print a few!)
