Clase de arte en línea EN VIVO: Serie de pintura acrílica fácil: Girasol

In this one-time class, we will review / share information about sunflowers (the big ones produce the sunflower seeds we eat; sunflower blossoms follow the track of the sun, face each other on cloudy days to share energy, etc.), then practice drawing the shapes of a sunflower.
We will draw a section of a sunflower in the corner of the canvas/canvas panel, adding a leaf coming from behind the petals. Students will paint the background (I use a light blue for sky), leaf (1-2 shades of green, plus yellow), petals (yellow, golden yellow, brown, and white; I will demonstrate how to mix/blend the colors for a rich, 3-d look), and finally, brown for the center, with yellow and/or other colors to give the head texture and dimension.
Because students work at varied paces, artwork may or may not be finished before class ends. 
Students who finish after class has ended are encouraged to photograph and upload their creations into the classroom!
