In this one-time class, we will review the shapes that make up a cupcake and frosting. We will discuss and practice drawing a cupcake that looks 3-d. We will draw a cupcake in the middle of the canvas/canvas panel, paying attention to the location and drawing a table or surface under it. Students will choose colors for their background, table, cupcake cup, frosting, and a cherry (I recommend mostly light colors, plus white, and red for the cherry). . Because students work at varied paces, artwork may or may not be finished before class ends. Students who finish after class has ended are encouraged to photograph and upload their creations into the classroom!
