- Students will learn letters of the alphabet, their sounds, pronunciation, formation and what objects begin with that letter. They will also practice their social and fine motor skills.
I have classroom experience teaching Pre-K and kindergarten prep as well as teaching experience in all subjects and in grade levels ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. I have experience tutoring students of all grade levels as well. Here are some of my qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in English/Language Arts & Early Childhood Education - Over 25 years teaching experience - Full-time classroom experience teaching and tutoring - Homeschool and CO-OP teaching experience - 3 years online teaching and online tutoring experience - Current 120 hour TESOL certification / ESL teaching experience
- Paper, pencil and crayons - Play-Doh - Alphabet formation sheets that I will send before class each week. Placing the sheet into a plastic page cover will keep the dough from sticking to the paper. A plastic cover is highly recommended. If you are unable to print these sheets, creating the letters without them is fine, too. :) - Optional: one item your learner finds that begins with the letter of that week - Optional: white board with dry erase marker
