Younger students will learn all about lions through interactive and creative learning methods. Students will learn about lions, their habitat, eating habits and family life. A focus will be on conservation. Students will be delve into video, handouts, creative options and multimedia presentations that are all guided by the teacher. Students will then role-play a Lion Pride that is facing challenges from poachers, global warming and loss of habitat. The students will each take on a role of a Lion, and together, make decisions with the knowledge they gained in class, to survive! At the end of the class students will learn how to draw a lion step-by-step!
