Does your learner love to learn about flamingos, koalas, sloths, dolphins, meerkats and other animals? Does your learner love drawing or want to learn how to draw? Does your learner want an interactive and engaging learning experience? In this weekly club we will do all of that and more! 1. Through classroom discussions, videos, and slideshows, animal life science concepts will be covered including the classification of animals, their habitats, behaviors and characteristics. We will be exploring the world of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals during the course of the school year. 2. Fine art instruction will follow the science lesson, with a teacher-directed art lesson on how to draw the featured animal, complete with helpful art tips. Creativity will always be encouraged! 3. Students will be invited, but never forced, to engage in class discussions, as well as participate in games during class time, for a fun interactive time with their peers and to reinforce what they have learned. Class size is capped to encourage more social interaction. This is an ongoing subscription class, which means your learner can come and go as they please as space permits. (Drops must be done by Saturday for the following week to avoid paying for that week) Each week will be independent of the other. There are a total of 20 different animals we will be learning about, each belonging to a different category as follows. Here is our planned adventure...
