Learners will be taught the fundamental basics of writing an essay. They will learn about creating an introductory opening, body, and closing in their essays. This a lecture-style lesson in which learners will be writing along with the teacher who will be modeling an essay. Learners will need a paper or note pad and a pencil to write with during the sessions. These can be purchased at the local area Dollar Tree for $1.00 an item or the local Big Lots, Target/Walmart store for under $5.00 depending on where the learner is located.
