Vamos a escribir: Cómo escribir un párrafo paso a paso

Do you love English? In this Ongoing Class, learners will develop their ability to create paragraphs by practising taking notes, outlining and writing in a fun and interactive way. This course aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for young writers.

Each class will include a range of teaching methods and activities that are designed to engage the learners in both a hands-on and minds-on way. Classes will include discussions, Q&A, quizzes, games, worksheets, songs, videos and much more.  Learners will be encouraged to write, revise and share what they write. A variety of methods are used to support learners and cater for different learning styles and needs.

Week of 2/12/24 - Using notes to write paragraphs
Week of 9/12/24 - Using signal words
Week of 16/12/24 - Using the more detailed outline form for writing

Understanding Paragraphs
Week beginning 23/12/24 - Paragraph Construction
Week beginning 30/12/24 - Taking notes in outline form
Week beginning 6/1/25 - Outlines and parallel construction
Week beginning 13/1/25 - Signal words
Week beginning 20/1/25 - Types of paragraph
Week beginning 27/1/25 - More detailed outline form

Each week will include English language direction including spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, grammar and input on ideas. Learners are expected to complete their writing following each class and submit it via the classroom.
