How are Presidents elected? Why do we have Judges? What does Congress do? Who lives in the House? Join Aunt Sam as we answer these questions, investigate the US Government and learn about the Election Process. The class involves activities, Power Points, songs and discussion. Presidents wear different "hats," so instructions are provided to make some hats that Presidents have worn. I will wear my hat in class. We have break-out rooms, where small groups will discuss the topics of the lesson. The last two weeks of class will include presentations, debates and a mock Presidential election. Students will pick their favorite President, then be encouraged to dress up as the President during our activities of the last 2 weeks of class.

Each class will be provided information, in the form of Power Points slides and worksheets. There will be hat crafts, flip-books and more. These will be given in advance. Come join the fun!
