Traveling Ted and I are ready for another adventure! Bring your favorite toy and come and join us!

In this one-time class, learners will explore the wonderful Island of Borneo in a fun and interactive way. Young learners will be provided with a fun and engaging travel experience where they will learn geography and science. We will use imaginative play where learners will travel to Borneo with their own toy and get to meet Ted - my mischievous bear!

What does this class involve?

This class will include a variety of activities that have been created to engage little explorers such as games, worksheets, video clips, and quizzes.  Using a range of methods like this helps ensure each learner has a memorable learning experience.

We will learn about where Borneo is and locate it on the map, then travel there in an imaginary airplane. We will learn about the people who live there, the weather and many interesting facts. Learners will then trek to see the limestone mountain (Mount Api) and explore the wonderful caves beneath the rainforest. We will also trek further keeping a lookout for the incredible orangutans. I hope Ted doesn't get lost, but if he does learners can help me find him! This class will include: locating Borneo on the map, completing a Borneo fact file, learn some facts about the mountains and caves there and learn about the endangered orangutans.
